CycleHack Manchester

Hackathon / event organisation / facilitation.

CycleHack is a global movement helping reduce the barriers to cycling within cities. CycleHack runs an annual weekend hackathon globally, where participants can explore the barriers to cycling in their city, prototype and test new ideas during the weekend event. Aimed at all riders and non-rides of any age. When I moved to Manchester in 2015, I helped organise and run the first Manchester CycleHack with a small team of people.

My Role:

  • Design of the branding material for CycleHack Manchester (logo, posters, and weekend material for participants).
  • Organisation for the weekend hackathon alongside other team members.
  • Facilitation and participation in The Chain Gang team of CycleHack Manchester 2015. You can see The Chain Gang video here.
  • Facilitation and planning of the 2016 CycleHack winner’s workshop. Hosted at Common Good with Things Manchester and CycleHack.
